Engineer, Keith has written eight previous books/booklets – all relating

Jack and Keith have been working on “Damned Un-English Machines” for three-and-a-half years and the book is the culmination of an enormous amount of detailed research. The book has been security cleared by both the Shipyard and the MoD and is unquestionably both the biggest Barrow-related history book ever published and also the most comprehensive available on the history of Barrow-built submarines.
With their wide experience of both the town and
the Shipyard, Jack and Keith (both Barrow born and bred) are ideally suited
to have written this book which is of local, national and, indeed, international
importance.
If you wish to contact Keith or Jack with any
